Herk Edwards, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Edward Sivas.  His vision was to establish a service focused business to fulfill the needs of the growing school market.  He would go on to accomplish this by leveraging his expertise to assist customers with design and implementation solutions.  For Edward, it was always about the customers.  He passed this emphasis on to Diane and Richard, two of his children, who took over the day to day operations of HEI in 1990.  They successfully grew the company into one of top rated dealers of fixed and telescopic seating systems in the US with the assistance of long time and valued team members Steve Stamer and Jeff Holleman.  In 2019 Diane Sivas retired and Richard implemented a succession plan to transition ownership of Herk Edwards, Inc. to Steve and Melissa Saunders.  They plan to continue the tradition of excellence started by the Sivas Family.
